Italian

A large amount of this section of the collection is the work of Fortuny and his competitor, Gallenga whose textiles were used in the Italian Pavillion at the Decorative Art Exposition in Paris in 1925. There are also excellent examples by Schubert, Pucci and Capucci and many others which demonstrate the flamboyant nature of Italian couture.
